Our Mission

Hardin County Pit Bull Rescue is devoted to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming pit bull breeds in Southeast Texas area shelters and pounds, educating the public on responsible ownership, the importance of spay/neutering pets, and advocating against the inhumane activity of dog fighting.

About Us

Founded in 2011 by Hardin County area animal activist Jacquelynn Jackson,  HCPBR is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization supported completely by donations. Our all-volunteer, home-based organization strives to find permanent families for all homeless dogs in SETX, reguardless of breed and age.
